Mailing Lists
A mailing list is a cyber-community of individuals
who share a fascination in the same subject area. Their inter-communications
are shared only with list members. You won't believe how useful and informative
these lists can be. If you have not yet tried a mailing list you might
want to sample one of these.
DIRECTIONS: 1. Highlight the bold, italicized text.
2. Click on "EDIT", then click on "COPY." 3. Then click on the name of
the mailing list. 4. A mailing form will appear with the address line already
filled in...simply place your cursor in the body of the e-mail and click
on "EDIT"... followed by "PASTE." 5. The necessary one or two-line line
message will appear. Then, 6. Click on "SEND" and you're finished! You
should start receiving e-mail from the list within minutes (depending on
how active the list).
